Tokyo Bound

Wait, what?!? For real this time?!? Yup, it's official folks.

In less than 100 days, #Tokyo2020 is happening and I'll be there for CBC Olympics.

I'm excited, for a 6th time, to help bring the Olympic action to your phones, TVs, and (if successful) your hearts.

Frequently, I've been asked what my confidence is that the Games will go ahead as (re)scheduled. My answer has been strong - I'm 100% sure this is happening.

I understand, that in a time of very little certainty, I may be naive to say this. However, I'm not naive to the fact that a lot of money, time, and energy has been put into this event. I also know that sport bubbles have proven relatively successful over this last year and lessons were learned.

Finally, the Olympics have always been a bubble, just the intension for its construction has changed. Now it's not only going to be a security bubble, it will also be a microbial bubble.

The Olympics have adapted, taken lessons from sport bubbles around the world, and they are coming your way starting July 23rd, 2021.
